14 Savvy Ways To Spend On Leftover Robot Vacuum Deals Budget

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. It did this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably hybrid. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. These bots also have various additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are some of the top available however it's expensive.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tried that does an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the higher price price.

However, if  top rated robot vacuum  looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other options on the market with a wide range of eufy models for significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper and has more features, including stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room for it to move around, however.

Full Document  is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The most important aspect that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it began.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life while offering better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials like cereal.
