1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling, the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good option for those looking for an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of having to empty their dust bin manually when it fills up.
Both robots excel at picking up surface debris on hard floors and carpets, and they're very adept at maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home, which help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. However unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots that we tested the i3+ doesn't have a feature for avoiding obstacles and therefore it could be stuck on things like socks or power cords, and it may have trouble in navigating through transitions between surfaces like from hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. best vacuums includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is low it will return to its docking station, automatically emptying its dirt into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning where it left off. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use. It takes around three hours to fully recharge.
2. iRobot i7+ Roomba
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and -- the most important feature of all -- it comes with self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba I7+ is able to better map rooms with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and it can direct your robot using the app or via voice.
The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin that removes a major source of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions as well as move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10

The main drawback of the V10 is its limited run time. The claims of its marketing that it can provide up to 60 minutes of run time are not true as CR's tests have shown. This is an average and not a remarkable time to run an electric cordless vacuum powered by batteries. This is enough time to clean the typical home, but not enough to reach every spot. (A second time usually works). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeable superior on low-pile floor carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums the 694 is a basic model that's a great choice for people who don't want to invest too much on a robot. It could pick up most types of debris and sizes in our tests, and frequently went over the same area several times to ensure an extensive clean. Its flat front end helps to get into corners and along the edges of walls and walls, which is a nice addition.
Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt technology to avoid obstacles and help you navigate your home. It may get stuck on phone cords or furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in all aspects in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is fitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower recurring costs, comes with more advanced automation capabilities and is more efficient in maneuvering itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges quicker.
